Let’s get to work – Pre-season training Gallery

0 3

QUEEN’S PARK players have reported back for pre-season duty.

kick-started his new regime with assistant Jim Duffy, new physio Jorge Pismante and head of sport science Ross Banks last Thursday.

Two days of testing followed for the returning Spiders stars and more and more team-mates have hooked up with the squad as they returned from holiday and signed deals for the season.

Sean Crighton said: “We began with all the testing and the players were buzzing to get a touch of the ball on Friday afternoon.

“The testing is important to give us a gauge of where everyone is at as they return to training and in six or eight weeks time we will re-assess and look for an improvement on all the work we have been doing.

“The players have come back in good condition and there’s a steel between their eyes and that’s what I want.

“It will be a good place to work and it’s simply a case of hard work from everyone here – get the head down and graft because we want to be ready for the games coming up.”
