Tottenham outcast set for summer talks, last played for Spurs in May 2024
At least two different clubs have expressed an interest in signing Bryan Gil this summer, with the winger expected to hold talks with Tottenham Hotspur shortly to iron out his future.
While there have been a lot of rumours about whether various Spurs players will stay or be discarded at the start of the Thomas Frank era, one winger is certainly to leave.
Bryan Gil has confirmed he is departing Spurs, with the 24-year-old now having entered the final year of his contract in North London.
It has been reported that Girona are now unlikely to activate their €15m (£12.5m) option to buy Gil, and last month, some sources suggested that the Spurs winger is generating interest from Saudi Arabia.

AS have now pointed out that the first order of business for the Spaniard this summer is to recover from his injury, which has kept him out of action since March.
The outlet says that Gil is only expected to regain his fitness towards the end of July, following which he will hold a conversation with Tottenham about his future.
The outlet claims that Girona still have him on their radar and the Spurs man is tempted by the possibility of returning to the Catalan club, given that he had the trust of manager Míchel Sánchez last season.
However, the La Liga side have made it clear that they will not pay £12.5m for Gil, thus complicating matters for the player.
European club among many sides interested in Gil
AS assert that the winger will have no shortage of options this summer as ‘many clubs have him on their radar’.
Gil is thus expected to sit down and analyse the offers that come his way over the coming weeks, with one of the offers expected to come from Olympiacos, who are keen on landing the Spain international.
The Greek club are managed by José Luis Mendilibar, who managed Gil at Eibar, and it is suggested that the winger may look favourably at the idea of reuniting with the Spanish coach.
