Bay sign Aeron Edwards
WE are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Aeron Edwards.
A 10-time Cymru Premier winner and a Cymru C International, Aeron has spent the last two seasons with Bala Town.
Aeron began his career with Brickfield Rangers and had spells at Buckley Town and Caersws before a move to The New Saints in 2009.
He spent 11 and a half years with Saints, winning the Cymru Premier nine times as well as numerous Welsh Cup and Welsh League Cup triumphs.
The 37-year-old also has vast European experience from his time at Park Hall.
Aeron joined Connah’s Quay Nomads in the summer of 2020 and during his first season on Deeside won the Cymru Premier title, his 10th in total.
He also won the Nathaniel MG Cup in 2022 in his three seasons with Nomads, where he played alongside Mike Wilde and Danny Harrison.
Aeron said: “I spoke with Mike and Danny and having previously played with them I know what their values and what they expect and it falls in line with how I am as a player.
“It felt like a good fit for me and the fans are a big draw. I’ve played in front of them before and definitely something I’d like to experience in my career.
“With the experience that I’ve got I’d like to think I can help the younger players as well.
“It all about challenging yourself and it’s a new opportunity for me. I will give it my all as I always have done at previous clubs and it’s something I’m looking forward to.”
Meddai Aeron ar ôl arwyddo i’r Bae: “Mae’n rhywbeth dwi’n edrych ymlaen i. Dwi wedi siarad hefo Mike a Danny a dwi isio trio cymryd Colwyn Bay mor uchel a da ni’n gallu yn y gynghrair.”
Croeso i’r Bae Aeron!
