What Harry Kane’s camp have said about Premier League return
Transfer market expert Graeme Bailey reveals what Harry Kane’s entourage have said about a possible Premier League move this summer, and the journalist has also given his own two cents on whether such a move is on the cards.
The England captain has had a successful season at the Allianz Arena, with his goals helping Bayern Munich get their hands on the Bundesliga title, and Spurs fans on social media were delighted to see Kane end his silverware drought.
However, there have been non-stop rumours over his future since it was leaked that Kane’s contract at Bayern has an exit clause of £54m this summer.
Reports over the recent weeks have claimed that Tottenham have not ruled out the possibility of making a shock move to bring Harry Kane back to N17.
In fact, it has also emerged Spurs have a first refusal on Kane, which was agreed upon when a deal was struck in 2023 between the North London club and Bayern.
How Harry Kane’s feels about a possible Premier League return
Graeme Bailey has revealed that the noises coming out of the striker’s camp are that he is not considering a summer move.
However, the journalist refused to rule out the possibility of a Premier League return for the 31-year-old this summer, revealing that there could be a merry-go-round for strikers across Europe.
Bailey has now told TBR Football: “I am still hearing Harry Kane’s name coming up. We are really going to have a real shuffle of the pack this summer when it comes to strikers. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are all looking for strikers.
“People close to Kane have been asked the question, but say nothing is going to happen – but I can say there are some in football who keep saying watch out for him this summer. I don’t really expect a move, but never say never, this is a crazy market.”
Bayern Munich are not panicking over Kane’s future
Reports from Germany indicate Bayern are relaxed about Kane’s release clause as they do not expect the striker to push for a move this summer.
Addressing the rumours at the start of April, Kane himself admitted that he is extremely happy at Bayern and expressed his desire to compete for and win the biggest trophies over the coming years.
At the very least, it thus appears that Tottenham’s record goalscorer is set to remain in Bavaria for at least one more season.
