Retained & Released List

With the 2024/25 season now concluded, we can confirm our full retained and released squad list.

Five players have been released following the expiration of their contracts.

We’d like to place on record our sincere thanks to all five for their efforts and contributions during their time with us, and wish each of them the very best for their futures.

Kevin Dabrowski

Kevin Dabrowski joined in June 2023, going on to make 82 appearances and keep 28 clean sheets.

During his two seasons with us, ‘Big Kev’ played his part in many memorable performances and formed a real connection with the Kirkcaldy community.

Kieran Freeman

Kieran Freeman signed for The Rovers in June 2024, playing 16 times before being loaned out to Montrose.

He became a key part of the Angus side, playing in every fixture during his time there.

Euan Murray

Euan Murray initially signed in June 2017, before leaving in 2019 and returning in July 2023.

Across four seasons at the Club, he’s played 159 times and scored 11 goals, featuring all across the back line.

Aidan Connolly

Aidan Connolly has also had two spells with us, firstly on a six month deal from January 2016 and then re-signing in June 2021.

Aidan has been at Raith Rovers ever since, collating 187 appearances in his time and scoring 42 goals.

Jake Nicholson

Jake Nicholson became our first ever Community Club signing in July 2024.

Gaining valuable experience, Jake has spent time on loan at Gala Fairydean and Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale.

Conversations remain ongoing with Liam Dick, Ross Matthews, Callum Smith, Andy McNeil, Callum Hannah and Jamie Gullan.

Returned To Parent Club:

Finlay Pollock, George Gitau, Aiden Marsh and Josh Rae’s loan spells with us have all come to an end.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to each, as well as their parent clubs, and wish them every success in the next chapter of their careers.
