Bill Belichick Says Girlfriend Jordon Hudson Has Nothing to Do With UNC Football
Amid recent speculation surrounding his future with UNC football, head coach Bill Belichick has decided to speak out on the situation.
Longtime journalist Pablo Torre ignited a firestorm of questions after suggesting Belichick may not coach a single game at UNC. This came after Torre stated on his show, Pablo Torre Finds Out, that he was told by multiple high-up sources at the school that Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, was no longer allowed on the UNC football field or inside its facility.
However, things became even more head-scratching when the school responded by denying that this was the case, as Yahoo Sports revealed.
“While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina Football facilities,” the statement read. “Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University.”
Do you think Bill Belichick makes it to Week 1 with UNC after the recent reporting about his relationship with Jordon Hudson?

Torre followed this up on Monday by doubling down on his comments during a segment on The Domonique Foxworth Show, stating that there's "an absolutely real chance that he doesn’t” last until the team's September 1, 2025, opener.
After the back-and-forth, Belichick himself addressed the topic head-on during Tuesday's ACC Spring Meetings. The longtime New England Patriots head coach stated that Hudson "doesn't have anything to do with UNC football," calling it "a personal relationship."
“It's off to the side. A personal relationship. She doesn't have anything to do w/UNC football. I’m excited to be back in coaches meetings,” Belichick said on ESPN's SportsCenter.

Belichick also spoke about his excitement in preparing for recruiting in June and beginning training camp in August with the Tar Heels.
Shortly before Belichick's media session on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, the official UNC football account on X also posted a graphic about his interview on ESPN.

Belichick gave the straightforward responses to questions that fans have become accustomed to hearing throughout his career. After briefly responding to the topic of Hudson, he redirected virtually every other question back to the topic of football, and did his best to make sure it remained there.
