Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping to get a bidding war going for Manor Solomon this summer after the latest update coming out of Leeds United.
While there has been a lot said and written about potential incomings at Tottenham, there is also expected to be a lot of departures, with reports indicating that Spurs have to sell before buying this summer, due to their financial constraints.
One man who appears certain to leave is Manor Solomon, who has been outstanding all season for Leeds, playing a key role in their Championship title win.
It has been widely reported over recent weeks that Leeds are keen to sign Solomon permanently, but the newly promoted club are expected to face some competition, with Everton and Southampton also credited with an interest in the Tottenham winger.
Leeds United’s stance on Manor Solomon revealed amidst competition
Football Insider have now become the latest outlet to confirm that the 25-year-old will leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer following his successful loan spell at Elland Road.
The report says that several Premier League sides, including Everton, are also eyeing Solomon, but Daniel Farke is determined to bring him through the door.
The outlet says that Leeds could make as many as ten new additions to their squad before their return to the top flight. The Israeli international is alleged to be a ‘priority’, right at the top of the Yorkshire club’s wishlist.
Tottenham’s asking price and Solomon’s stance on his future
According to some sources, Tottenham are hoping to get £20m for Solomon’s sale this summer, while Leeds are looking to sign him for around £15m.
Solomon is also thought to be of interest to Marseille, but it looks like the player might have already made up his mind on who he wants to join.
It was revealed by GiveMeSport last month that the Spurs man’s preference is to make a permanent switch to Leeds following his temporary spell at the club this season.
