Red Sox Vs. Royals Lineups: Kristian Campbell Sits As Boston Eyes Series Win

The Boston Red Sox will try for a second straight series victory when they face the Kansas City Royals on Sunday afternoon.

Boston’s bats helped lead the way to a win in the middle game Saturday, making the series finale at Kauffman Stadium the rubber match.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora made one lineup tweak for the finale as David Hamilton will replace Kristian Campbell at second base and bat seventh.

Red Sox right-hander Lucas Giolito will try to bounce back in his third start of the season. Giolito allowed six runs on 10 hits in 3 2/3 innings against the Texas Rangers last week. The Royals will counter with right-hander Seth Lugo, who allowed two runs on seven hits in his latest start against the Chicago White Sox.

First pitch from Kauffman Stadium is scheduled for 2:10 p.m. ET, and you can watch it live on NESN after an hour of pregame coverage.
