Glenn Hoddle issues warning ahead of Spurs vs Manchester United final
While every Tottenham fan, including Aurier, has their eye on the clash in Spain, former Tottenham manager Glenn Hoddle has warned of a potential bad omen heading into the Europa League final.
The ex-manager pointed out the difficulty of beating a Premier League side four times in one season, but he believes this Tottenham team are more than capable, provided they are at their best.
He said: “That is a slight problem for me actually, I am on a down… To beat a team four times in one season from the Premier League is really tough, it really is.
“But it is a one-off game and Spurs, when they are on their game, when they defend properly, they are a match for anyone and they have proved that with some of the performances they have put in this year.”
