Man United forward teams up with experienced agent to secure dream move l

0 3

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has had an excellent loan spell at Aston Villa, registering 10 goal contributions in 17 games.

However, he does not want a permanent move. The England international intends to join Spanish giants Barcelona this summer.

The 27-year-old is ready to accept a pay cut and has teamed up with agent Pini Zahavi to secure a move to the Catalan club.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Rashford knows Zahavi has a good relationship with president Joan Laporta, which could lead to him joining Barcelona.

The highly experienced agent also represents manager Hansi Flick and striker Robert Lewandowski. Working with him could give Rashford a chance of securing his dream move.

However, Barcelona may offer to sign the English forward on loan. United value Rashford at €35 million (£29.8m) and are unlikely to accept a loan offer.

As an academy graduate, his sale would be pure profit for the club. Given United’s financial status, they would prefer an outright sale.

Rashford should keep his options open to leave United

Barcelona are not in a strong financial position, which could prevent Rashford from joining them this summer.

While joining the Spanish giants is appealing, they may not be able to strike a deal with United.

The English forward must keep his options open to secure a move away from Old Trafford.

Having done well before his season-ending injury, he should not be short of other suitors who would likely pay United his valuation.

United are preparing for a huge summer and hope to recoup as much as possible from Rashford’s sale to comply with Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).
