Colin Cowherd Takes Cold Shot At Jayson Tatum After Celtics Game 1 Loss
The Boston Celtics still should not be worried about their Game 1 loss to the New York Knicks.
Sure, a poor shooting night and blowing a 20-point lead might cause some concern. Add on Jayson Tatum scoring just four points in the fourth quarter and overtime. The Knicks took advantage of an off-shooting night. Colin Cowherd still believes the Celtics will steamroll the city, but he took a jab at another Tatum narrative.
“Jayson Tatum, he froze,” Cowherd said on “The Herd” Tuesday. “He does that from time to time. It was the classic Jayson Tatum game late where you’re like, ‘Is he on the floor? Is he playing? Where’s Jayson Tatum?’
Cowherd emphasized what can happen on the rare nights where the usually hot-handed Celtics don’t get shots to fall.
“They just live and die by the three,” Cowherd added.
The Celtics and Knicks continue their second-round series Wednesday night at TD Garden.
