President Donald Trump announced that the son of disgraced and embattled former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani will have a key role when the FIFA World Cup 2026 comes to the U.S.
"I am proud to announce the appointment of Andrew Giuliani as the Executive Director of the President's Task Force on the 2026 FIFA World Cup," Trump wrote Tuesday on his Truth Social platform.
The president noted that Andrew Giuliani previously served as special assistant to the president and associate director of the Office of Public Liaison during his first term.
