Approaching Our 150th Anniversary
With just three months to go until the Club officially turns 150 years old – we are excited to provide more details on some of the upcoming events and projects we have planned over the coming months!
Wednesday 6 August Celebrations
Exactly three months from now – Wednesday 6 August – the Club will turn 150 years and to mark the momentous occasion, we will be hosting two special events on the day.
We’re going back to where the Club were first founded, at St Mary’s Street Hall in the Cowgate area of Edinburgh for a special free drop-in exhibition for supporters.
The building, now operating as the Edinburgh Training and Conference Venue, will be open for Hibs supporters for a special exhibition showcasing our history, with a variety of memorabilia (new and old) on show.
The exhibition is free to visit – all you need to do is book your place! CLICK HERE for full details!
Later that evening on Wednesday 6 August, we will be hosting a special celebration dinner at Easter Road Stadium.
The event will take place in the Famous Five Suite at Easter Road and includes a three-course meal before hearing from a selection of very special guests as we look back on our iconic 150-year history. Tickets for the night are on sale now!
Hibernian vs Rot-Weiss Essen
Tickets for our historic fixture with Rot-Weiss Essen are on sale now! The Hibees host German side Rot-Weiss Essen this summer, recreating the famous fixture from 1955 when Hibs became the first-ever British club to play in Europe.
The match will take place on Wednesday 9 July, with several other key activations planned around the match day.
