Scott Zolak Shares Post-Draft Patriots 2025 Record Prediction
The New England Patriots greatly improved the roster through free agency and the NFL draft. Is that growth enough to make them a playoff team in 2025?
If the season goes the way radio host and game analyst Scott Zolak predicts it will, the Patriots will be in great shape.
The Patriots radio announcer ran through the 2025 schedule with Tim McCone and Marc Bertrand on 98.5 The Sports Hub’s “Zolak and Bertrand” show Thursday.
Here’s what Zolak came up with:
Home
vs. Pittsburgh Steelers – Win
vs. Cleveland Browns – Win
vs. Atlanta Falcons – Win
vs. Las Vegas Raiders – Win
vs. New York Giants – Win
vs. Buffalo Bills – Win
vs. Miami Dolphins – Win
vs. New York Jets – Win
Home record: 9-0
“There’s got to be a loss in there,” Zolak reflected after hearing his predicted home record.
Road
at Baltimore Ravens – Loss
at Cincinnati Bengals – Loss
at Tennessee Titans – Win
at Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Loss
at New Orleans Saints – Win
at Buffalo Bills – Loss
at Miami Dolphins – Loss
at New York Jets – Win
Road record: 3-5
How does 12-5 sound, Patriots fans?
That schedule outcome is fairly similar to when New England last won the Super Bowl (and any playoff game at that) in the 2018 season. Two losses in December tanked the Patriots to 3-5 on the road while going undefeated at home inside the walls of Gillette Stadium.
The Patriots last made the playoffs in the 2021 season and have not won a postseason game since Super Bowl LIII on Feb. 3, 2019.
