Celtics’ Jayson Tatum Takes Big Step After Missed Playoff Game
Jayson Tatum missed a postseason game for the first time in his career in Game 2 of the opening round series for the Boston Celtics.
The Boston star suffered a wrist injury in Game 1 against the Orlando Magic. While he’s listed as questionable for Game 3 in Orlando, Tatum took the floor for warmups, which he did not do for Game 2 on Wednesday. Whether or not he plays is yet to be seen, but it’s progress back to the floor for the Celtics forward.
Fueled by a few skirmishes with growing characters, Boston rose to the occasion without Tatum Wednesday night to take a 2-0 series lead over Orlando with Jaylen Brown posting a double-double to lead the way.
The Celtics have the chance to take a 3-0 series lead over the Magic Friday night at Kia Center.
