Will Heung-min Son be ready for Bodo/Glimt? Ange Postecoglou gives early indication
Ange Postecoglou has delivered an update on Heung-min Son’s fitness ahead of the crucial Europa League semi-final, revealing whether or not he would be available on Thursday.
Thursday’s semi-final Europa League tie is as big as it gets for Tottenham Hotspur as they welcome Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Spurs advanced to the semi-finals after an assured and mature performance from Ange Postecoglou’s team in the second leg of their quarter-final match against Eintracht Frankfurt.
While every player pulled their weight in that tie, Tottenham were without Heung-min Son, who didn’t travel because of a foot problem.

The wide forward missed out once more against Nottingham Forest and could also be unavailable for the clash against Liverpool this weekend.
He is racing to be available for the first-leg semi-final clash against Bodo/Glimt and Ange Postecoglou has now revealed just how likely that is.
He told football.london: “Sonny is improving, which is a positive for us, not for Sunday. Everyone else from the last game is fine.”
When asked ‘Will Son be ready for Thursday?’, Postecoglou added: “We’ll see. First time on the grass today and he said it felt better.”
Despite Son’s inconsistencies this season, the Korean forward has still delivered in the attacking third, scoring 11 times and assisting 12 in all competitions.

Spurs’ options if Heung-min Son misses the Bodo/Glimt tie
Should Heung-min Son not make it to the grass on Thursday, Tottenham have a fair few players who could step in during his absence.
Mathys Tel has been doing a great job in the winger’s absence and would be in contention to start once more against Glimt.
Richarlison, who bagged Spurs’ only goal against Forest, is another player capable of filling in on the left if Son doesn’t return in time.
