Over recent weeks, a few outlets have claimed that Tottenham are big fans of Fenerbahce’s Yusuf Akcicek.
The teenage defender has won many admirers since breaking into Jose Mourinho’s starting eleven and he made his international debut for Turkey last month in their Nations League playoff against Hungary.

A new report in A Spor has now become the latest outlet to confirm that Spurs are eying a summer approach for Akcicek.
The report says that the Premier League side are step ahead with a move for the 19-year-old when the transfer market opens as they look to add reinforcements to their backline.
Interestingly, the outlet claims that Tottenham have reached out to their former boss, Jose Mourinho, to ask for information about the young defender.
That is surprising as the Portuguese coach did not part ways on great terms with the club and Mourinho has aimed several barbs at Spurs since departing.
Several Champions League also eyeing Yusuf Akcicek
Tottenham Hotspur are not expected to have a free run at the Turkey international, who is also thought to be attracting interest from a lot of big sides across Europe.
Two weeks ago, an update from Turkey revealed that Man United had joined Spurs in the race for Akcicek ahead of the summer window.
The same outlet revealed that Bayern Munich, Napoli, Atletico Madrid and RB Leipzig are also keeping an eye on the Fenerbahce man.
