Premier League action will continue on Sunday as Liverpool lock horns with West Ham United for an exciting league fixture at Anfield.

The Reds suffered a shock 3-2 defeat at Fulham in their previous league encounter, while Graham Potter’s side played out a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth last time out.

Match Preview

Mohamed Salah has finally ended months of speculation surrounding his future by agreeing a new contract with the English club.

The Egyptian star has been excellent for the Merseyside titans over the years, helping them win many major trophies.

An now he is set to lift another Premier League trophy with Liverpool, despite his team suffering a shock 3-2 defeat at Fulham last week.

The Reds took the lead but Marco Silva’s men turned the game on its head after three of their players scored in the first-half. Luis Diaz pulled one back after 72 minutes, but that only served as a consolation goal.

However, despite the result, Liverpool still have an 11-point advantage over second-placed Arsenal, who were held to a 1-1 draw by their bitter rivals Everton last weekend.

On the other hand, West Ham will enter Sunday’s game on the back of a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth.

The Irons looked on course for their first top-flight success since February when second-half goals from Niclas Fullkrug and Jarrod Bowen put them 2-1 ahead. But Evanilson bagged his second on the day to deny the hosts three points.

However, West Ham fans have no fears of relegation as their team sit 15 points clear of the drop zone with seven games to spare.

Team News

Arne Slot has confirmed that Alisson Becker will be fit to start on Sunday after remaining sidelined with a head injury. But the Dutch boss will not be able to call upon the services of Tyler Morton, Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold as the trio are still on the treatment table.

As for West Ham, Fullkrug is a doubt for the away clash after Potter admitted they would have to make a late check on him. The German took part in training on Friday, and that suggests he should be fine. However, the Hammers will be missing Aaron Cresswell, Michail Antonio and Crysencio Summerville due to fitness issues.
