The Australian coach is said to be seeking assurances from the Crystal Palace hierarchy that they will try to push on and fight for European football next season.

Glasner has reportedly made it clear to the Eagles top brass that he wants midfielder Adam Wharton to remain at the club for at least another 12 months despite the growing interest in the England international.

Tottenham Hotspur are not the only club interested in the Palace boss, with RB Leipzig also said to be keeping an eye on his situation.

Big Spurs transfer decision could influence Glasner’s future

It is interesting to note that one of the Palace boss’s demands to stay is that Wharton is kept at the club for one more year.

If Spurs are able to prise the midfielder away from Selhurst Park, that could make their task of getting Glasner a lot easier.
