A fresh update has detailed the conversations that have gone on between Daniel Levy and Fabio Paratici over recent weeks as the Tottenham chairman tries to persuade the Italian to return to the club.

Over recent days, plenty of reports have claimed that Paratici could be set for a shock return to Spurs this summer, two years on from being forced to resign from his position as the North London club’s managing director of football.

Various outlets have revealed over recent weeks that AC Milan are keen on appointing Paratici as their new sporting director, but now they potentially face missing out on him after Spurs entered the race.

A fresh update has now suggested the steps that the North London club are taking to ensure that they win the race for the 52-year-old.

What Daniel Levy has told Fabio Paratici about Tottenham return

TBR Football have now claimed that Levy has been ‘working hard’ to persuade Paratici to return to N17 this summer.

While nothing has been agreement between Paratici and Spurs, it is Levy’s approach that is said to be the reason why the Italian has not yet committed to Milan.

The Tottenham chairman reportedly told Paratici in his meeting with him last week to ‘return and finish’ the job that he started at the club back in 2021.

AC Milan still believe they are winning the Paratici race

TBR Football make it clear that despite the Levy talks, Milan have not given up hope of appointing Paratici as their sporting director.

The Rossoneri’s CEO Giorgio Furlani met with him over the weekend, with the Serie A giants now ‘pushing hard’ to bring their top target through the door.

Milan believe they have an advantage as they have told Paratici that he would have complete power over all footballing decisions if he takes up the role at the San Siro, with the club also open to reuniting him with Max Allegri.
