Tottenham could battle Nottingham Forest for Sebastian Szymanski
Tottenham Hotspur are showing an interest in Fenerbahce attacker Sebastian Szymanski ahead of the summer, but they potentially face a battle for his signature with Champions League hopefuls, Nottingham Forest.
Spurs are well-stocked with attacking midfield options, with Lucas Bergvall, James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski being used in the number eight/ten role at different points by Ange Postecoglou.
However, it has now emerged that Tottenham are keen to strengthen that area in the summer and have set their sights on a man who has been thriving in the Turkish top flight.
The player in question is Fenerbahce attacker Sebastian Szymanski, who has scored five goals and provided nine assists so far this season.

This update comes from Aksam, who say that Tottenham could push forward with a move for the Poland international when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
The Lilywhites are expected to be joined in the race for the Szymanski by Nottingham Forest, who are also fans of the player.
Additionally, AC Milan and Napoli are also thought to have their eye on the versatile attacker, who can also operate wide on the right.
Interestingly, the update says that an offer of €25m (£20.8m) would be enough to price the Szymanski away from Istanbul.
Spurs are also plotting a move for a Fenerbahce defender
Szymanski is not the only Fenerbache man Spurs have their eye on ahead of the summer window.
Over the last couple of weeks, a number of reports have claimed that Tottenham have scouted Fenerbache centre-back Yusuf Akcicek.
Spurs are expected to face competition from Bayern Munich, Man United and PSG for Akcicek, who is continuing to win admirers with his impressive displays for Jose Mourinho’s men this season.
