Tomos Wilson Runs Blackpool Festival of Running Marathon

AFC Fylde’s Head of Performance Tomos Wilson is taking part in the Blackpool Festival of Running next month, raising money for Alzheimer’s Society.

The 22-year-old will be running a Marathon on the Coast on the 27th April.

After joining the club in January, Wilson has been working closely with the squad to help develop player’s physical abilities and reduce the risk of injuries.

He will be raising money for Alzheimer’s Society, a cause which is close to him, with two of Tomos’ grandparents suffering with the condition.

Ahead of the race, Tomos said: “If you can donate anything at all, it’s all for a great cause and one that is very close to my heart. I’d like to say a huge thank you to anyone who shows their support.”
