Daniel Levy has now made a concrete move to bring Fabio Paratici back to the club, but the Tottenham chairman has given him one clear condition to accept the job.

It has now been almost two years since the Italian resigned from his position as Tottenham’s managing director of football, but Paratici has continued to assist Spurs in a consultancy role during that time.

However, reports over recent weeks have indicated that Paratici has emerged as a contender to take over as AC Milan’s sporting director.

A fresh update has now suggested that Milan are wary of losing out on their top target after Tottenham entered the picture to re-sign the Italian director.

Tottenham make offer to Fabio Paratici but under one condition

Radio Rossonera have now claimed that while Paratici still remains the favourite to join as Milan’s sporting director, the Rossoneri now face a big challenge from his former club.

Tottenham Hotspur have now ‘entered the race strongly’, with Daniel Levy having had a conversation with Paratici about returning to N17.

In fact, the report says that the Spurs chairman is now ready to make a very lucrative offer to his former employee to rejoin the club.

However, it is revealed that Levy has made it clear to Paratici that he will have a ‘very short deadline’ to give his final answer to the offer.

What role does Levy want Paratici to occupy?

The Italian previously worked as the club’s managing director of football, but the organizational setup at Tottenham has since changed, with Scott Munn arriving as the chief football officer and Johan Lange taking over as the technical director.

It was reported last week that Levy wants to hand Paratici a role similar to what Luis Campos currently holds at PSG, offering strategic input behind the scenes.

However, that update suggested that the 52-year-old had shown no interest in accepting such a role.
