Multiple Tottenham players are already thinking about summer transfers

It has been reported that this summer could see some wholesale changes at Tottenham as not only is there uncertainty over Ange Postecoglou’s future but also the futures of several first-team players.

There is a lot of discontent among the Spurs fan base at the moment, with thousands of fans marching in protest against Levy and ENIC this season.

Many Tottenham supporters feel that the owners have not shown enough ambition on the pitch and have prioritised on-pitch success.

Just a few days ago, it emerged that Levy is ready to ‘make a splash’ by greenlighting a ‘significant’ summer spending spree, but a new update has suggested that planning for the window may not be straightforward for the North London club.

The Daily Mail have now explained why Tottenham may not be able to finalise their plans for the upcoming transfer window as there is still some uncertainty regarding what will happen over the coming months.

The outlet states that the club face a ‘summer of change’, with Ange Postecoglou’s position expected to come under review at the end of the season.

The report adds that a number of players in the Tottenham first-team squad are already assessing their next move, even though we are two and a half months away from the opening of the transfer window.

The Mail go on to explain that despite facing these issues, Tottenham’s recruitment team have begun working on plans to strengthen the squad in the summer.

The publication backs up what we have heard from other sources over recent weeks by naming Lille’s Angel Gomes and Southampton’s Tyler Dibling as two players who feature prominently on Spurs’ shortlist.
