Tottenham vs Man United race for Jarrad Branthwaite could come down to one factor
Manchester United are determined to beat Tottenham Hotspur to the services of Jarrad Branthwaite, but the race between the two clubs could be decided by just one factor.
Despite having secured the services of Kevin Danso from Lens in January, Spurs are still thought to be plotting further reinforcements to their backline.
It emerged a few weeks ago that Tottenham are plotting an ambitious move for Jarrad Branthwaite in the summer, even though the player is valued at £70m.
The same report revealed that Man United and Real Madrid are also keeping an eye on the 22-year-old ahead of the transfer window.

A fresh report from The Sun has now claimed that United have now identified the Everton academy graduate as their ‘next defensive kingpin’.
The report says that Ruben Amorim has identified Branthwaite as his top defensive target and has told the club’s hierarchy to do what it takes to bring him to Old Trafford.
The Red Devils are allegedly ready to meet Everton’s asking price, and despite competition from Tottenham, the club believe they can get over the line.
Tottenham and Man Utd would have to do one thing to sign Branthwaite
The Sun make it clear that Tottenham and Man United would have to win the Europa League to have any chance of landing the England international.
It is explained that even though Branthwaite is open to leaving Goodison Park, he would only join a club that can offer him Champions League football.
