Well England, that is Myles Lewis-Skelly for ya… what a player. Scored on his England debut, just like Franny Jeffers. He also earned himself Player of the Match, and Thomas Tuchel was glowing about him.

The gutter chatters online have a real problem gaining a foothold when talent like Myles comes through. They may have found a way in with Raheem Sterling because he was a quieter, more sullen character, but Myles? He’s simply too likeable to hate. He doesn’t need to be humble, he doesn’t need to regulate his celebrations—he should just show the magic we’re lucky to see every week and everything will be fine.

I almost forgot how interesting Thomas Tuchel is to listen to. Put him up against Gareth Southgate and it’s really the difference between a Tesco meal deal tuna sandwich and a steak from Peter Luger’s. He just operates on a different level—and I mean no disrespect. One managed Boro’, the other rocked it at Dortmund, Bayern, and Chelsea.
