Cadden Delighted With Contract Extension

0 0

Chris Cadden spoke to Hibs TV following the announcement of his contract extension, admitting it was a very easy decision to extend his stay with the Club.

Cadds penned a two-year contract extension, keeping him at the Club until summer 2027.

Since joining the Club in 2021, Cadden has made 129 appearances for the Hibees and is eager to add to that number over the next few years.

“I’m delighted, once the Club came to me it was a no-brainer. I have absolutely loved my time here, it has been brilliant.  It is a really special club, so when I was offered the deal - I couldn’t wait to get it done. I’m delighted to be here for the next couple of seasons.

“From my point of view, I just wanted to get it done as quickly as possible. Why would you want to leave Hibs at this moment? There is a real good feel-good factor about the place – I absolutely love it and I'm delighted to extend my stay here.

“I have been through a lot at this Club – it has been ups and downs, there have been good times and bad with a big injury as well, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. It is a really special Club that really gets to you.”

This season Chris has been joined by twin-brother Nicky, an experience Chris found difficult to put into words.

“The group of boys are all a credit to each other, we’ve had a tough start and we have really turned it around. To play with my brother has been brilliant – to win games of football for Hibs is special, but to do it with your brother is a really good feeling that is hard to describe.

“This season, we’ve given ourselves an opportunity – we need to try and grab it and make sure that we finish the season as strongly as possible. There is a real opportunity for us to make it a very successful season.

“In terms of the future, my main aim is to try and play a part in bringing as much success as possible to this Football Club.
