Bruins, Senators Both Red-Hot After Trade Deadline

Since the NHL Trade deadline saw locker room and fan favorites exit both the Boston Bruins and Ottawa Senators, it’s almost surprising that both teams have not recorded a loss since the deadline passed on March 7. The Bruins battled to a pair of wins over the Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers, while the Senators have recorded three wins in contests against the New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings, and Philadelphia Flyers.

The Senators deadline saw Josh Norris and Jacob Bernard-Docker sent to the Buffalo Sabres in return for Dylan Cozens, Dennis Gilbert, and a 2nd-round pick in the 2026 NHL draft. The front office also traded Zack Ostapchuk, Noah Gregor, and a 2nd-round pick in the 2025 NHL draft to San Jose for Fabian Zetterlund, Tristen Robins, and a 4th-round pick in the 2025 NHL draft.
