Every season we have got 82 points or more we have got automatic promotion - 1983-84, 1994-95, 2006-07, 2008-09.
In 1991-92 we went up with 81.
We need 8 points to set a club record, which is currently 89, from 1994-95
We have also equalled the most wins in a season with 25 (1984-85, 1994-95). I am wondering why we did not do well in 2004-05 and 2014-15.
We need 8 wins to beat the 70% winning ratio from 1902-03 - 24 from 34. Amazingly we finished second that season to Man City.
We can still equal the fewest league defeats (3) from 1892-93. Though that was in a 22 game season, so is equivalent to 6.
We can beat the fewest in a 42/46 game season which is 5 in 1947-48 and 1971-72.
We are not set to beat our goal scoring record of 103 in 28 games from 1893-94
We need to score 46 to beat it. Or 112 in 11 games to beat the goals per game.
