Match Preview: Queen’s Park vs Partick Thistle

The season so far

The Spiders head into this one on the back of a 3-2 defeat at Hampden in their last William Hill Championship fixture, a week ago. With the game goalless at the break, Queen’s quickly found themselves two ahead through Jack Turner and Zak Rudden before the visitors fought their way back into it and eventually left with all three points. That result, coupled with other results over the last week leaves The Spiders sitting seventh in the table. Five points behind tonight’s visitors. 

Thistle go into the game sitting fourth in the table, four points clear of fifth placed Greenock Morton. They are without a win in their last six matches,  having lost three and drawn three, the most recent of which was a battling point against fellow promotion chasers Livingston at Firhill almost two weeks ago.
