Wolves keeping tabs on Everton star Michael Keane
Everton star Michael Keane could leave the club in the summer as his contract at Goodison Park expires in June.
The Blues have seen a revival in their fortunes since David Moyes returned as manager in January.
The Scottish boss has lost only two of his 10 matches in charge, with the positive results lifting them to 15th in the Premier League table.
Everton are now 16 points above the relegation zone, which means survival in the English top-flight is almost guaranteed.
However, as per Football Today, big changes in the Toffees’ squad is likely in the summer, with nine first-team stars out of contract at the end of the season.
Keane is among these players who are set to become free agents in June.
According to the Daily Mail, several clubs around the world are interested in sealing a move for the 32-year-old.
Wolverhampton Wanderers are keeping tabs on the experienced centre-forward, while Saudi Pro League side Al-Riyadh and MLS team FC Dallas have also been linked with an interest.
Keane has been one of the most loyal servants of Everton over the years. He joined the Merseyside club in the summer of 2017 for an initial fee of £25 million.
Since his arrival at Goodison, the defender has made 226 appearances across all competitions, scoring 15 goals and registering 10 assists in the process.
Keane also made a strong start to the 2024-25 campagin, starting nine of the opening 10 Premier League matches.
However, he lost his place in the team after Jarrad Branthwaite returned from injury in November.
The 32-year-old hasn’t started in the English top-flight since, but Wolves are still interested in signing him as a free agent in the summer.
Vítor Pereira’s side have had a disappointing season, and they are fighting to stay in the Premier League.
