Tottenham enquire about Pavel Sulc amidst interest from Premier League rivals

Tottenham Hotspur have made their first move in their pursuit of one Viktoria Plzen star Pavel Sulc, but the Lilywhites are not the only ones who are eyeing a summer move for the midfielder.

Tottenham may be set for a midfield rejig at the end of the season as speculation continues to suggest that Yves Bissouma could be on his way out of Spurs this summer.

It turns out that Spurs could decide to revisit their interest in one midfielder, who they explored a move for last year.

Back in October of 2024, it was reported that Tottenham were keeping a close eye on Viktoria Plzen midfielder Pavel Sulc, whose performances in Czech football had allegedly impressed the Lilywhites.

Now a new report in Efotbal.cz has claimed that Spurs are continuing to show an interest in the attacking midfielder and have now even made a step towards signing him.

The outlet claims that Tottenham have ‘enquired’ about the availability of Sulc this summer, but they are not the only ones to do so, with Aston Villa also asking for information about the player.

Additionally, the Czech Republic international is also said to be on the radars of Leeds United while Manchester City have also sent scouts to watch him, but none of these clubs have made any offer for the player so far.

Sulc is expected to make a big move this summer

The outlet goes on to say that Sulc is ‘very much waiting for his big transfer’ this summer as he is aware that several clubs are now monitoring him.

It is pointed out that the midfielder enters the final year of his deal at Viktoria Plzen this summer, which is why it would be a ‘real risk’ for the club not to cash in on him this summer.

In fact, it is ‘hardly conceivable’ that the Czech side will allow Sulc to enter the final year of his contract, which is why a transfer appears inevitable.
