Loved him as a player and think what might have been if we had signed him in 1995 when we were meant to - by god damn I despise him as a managerAmazing how careers pan out isn't it.
Remember in 2009 when Man City were after Lescott and Mark Hughes was giving it the big un about coming to a big club etc. Then when he was at Fulham he resigned saying he was young and ambitious and wanted to move on, only to realise no bigger club wanted him and he ended up at QPR followed by stints at Stoke, Southampton and most recently Bradford.
Fast forward to 2025 and Moyes has just managed his 700th Premier League game and Hughes has just been appointed manager at Carlisle Utd who are rock bottom of League Two and looking increasingly like having back to back relegations.
