Kain Adom Joins the Coasters

0 2

AFC Fylde are delighted to announce the loan signing of Kain Adom from Gateshead until the end of the season.

The attacker, who can play centrally and out wide,  will add National League experience and quality to Kevin Phillips’ side after arriving at Mill Farm until the end of the campaign.

The explosive winger made an instant impact in the North East, scoring in his second appearance for the Heed against Barnet before going on to make 20 appearances for Rob Elliot’s side last campaign.

Before arriving at the Gateshead International Stadium, Adom had impressed at National League South side Welling United with seven goals in his first 23 appearances.

The 23-year-old had previously been at Hanwell Town where he shot through the Non League system, and has proved to be a threat at this level.

Speaking on making the move, Adom said: “I’m really excited to be here and can’t wait to get going.

“I met the lads yesterday morning and they seem a really good group.

“I’m fast with quick feet, and I’m hoping to add some goals to the side.”

Head Coach Kevin Phillips added: “Kain is a signing we’re really excited about. He is a pacey, tricky winger who can also be a threat in central areas.

“With recent injuries, he adds a really good option out wide and brings a direct option which we’re really pleased to have.

“He’s shown he can produce quality moments at this level and our job now is to get that out of him on a regular basis for the remainder of the campaign.”

Everyone at AFC Fylde welcomes Kain to Mill Farm and wishes him all the best during his time on the Fylde coast.
