Tottenham man has struggled to his usual heights

Heung-min Son has been extremely consistent over the course of his time at Tottenham, with the South Korean star often being the man to bail Spurs out at the first sign of trouble.

Ange Postecoglou has come to his captain’s defence, putting his poor form down to the fact that the side is not firing as a whole and to fatigue, given the number of minutes the forward has played this season.

Tottenham considering Heung-min Son sale

However, a report in GiveMeSport has now claimed that Tottenham are going to ‘carefully consider’ selling their long-serving superstar at the end of the campaign.

It is revealed that the club are now pondering revamping their squad in the summer, and as a part of that, they are prepared to let Son go.

The club recently took up the option to extend the forward’s deal until 2026, but they have allegedly not ruled out cashing in on him at the end of the season.

It is pointed out that Tottenham are aware that they can reduce their wage bill by £445k-a-week by letting go of Son, Timo Werner and Richarlison, thus making space for new faces to arrive through the door.

Son is generating transfer interest

It is revealed that there is ‘genuine interest’ from Saudi Arabian clubs in the experienced Asian superstar.

The report says that previously, it was ‘unthinkable’ for the Lilywhites to even consider letting Son go to the Saudi Pro League.

However, should those clubs show concrete interest in the summer, a sale is something that Spurs will seriously consider in the summer.
