Bay Ladies fightback retains unbeaten tag

COLWYN BAY Ladies came from 0-2 down to preserve their unbeaten record and go joint top of the North Wales Women’s Recreational League with a battling 2-2 draw away to Cei Connah Women.

The home side lead 2-0 after 13 minutes with goals from Leanne Hughes and Stacy Harrison to leave the Bay Ladies facing a tough task, but they pulled a goal back before half-time and then got the equaliser in the second half to share the points, with Rachel Marland and Sophie Heap getting the goals.

That lifts the Bay level with Eglwsbach Queen Bees Ladies at the top of the table.
