Crystal Palace ‘In Talks’ To Land Serie A Defender

Crystal Palace are ‘in talks’ with AC Milan to sign centre-back Strahinja Pavlovic, according to the Daily Mail.

 

Oliver Glasner is short in the centre-back department and wants to beef up his defence in the ongoing window.

 

The Crystal Palace boss likes to play with three centre-backs in the backline and with Chadi Riad set to be out of action for a longer period, he is left with only three senior centre-backs.

 

 

The London outfit are interested in AC Milan’s Pavlovic, who joined the Rossoneri in the summer.

 

Now Crystal Palace are ‘in talks’ with the Serie A giants to secure a deal for the 23-year-old centre-back.

 

 

Pavlovic has featured only eleven times in the league for AC Milan and he is not a first-choice defender for Sergio Conceicao.

 

However, it is unclear whether the Serie A giants are willing to part ways with their centre-back late in the window.

 

 

Crystal Palace also have Juventus star Tiago Djalo in mind and have been linked with a move for Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell.
