Judd Sirott Gets In Good Bills Chirp At End Of Bruins-Sabres
The Bruins weren’t on the right side of the scoreboard Tuesday night, but they did get the last laugh.
Boston suffered a disappointing 7-2 loss to the Buffalo Sabres at KeyBank Center. Captain Brad Marchand and star goalie Jeremy Swayman took responsibility for the loss and knew the Black and Gold were better than what they showed.
NESN announcer Judd Sirott delivered some levity for fans with a hilarious chirp at Bills fans.
“The touchdown that Buffalo needed in Kansas City,” Sirott said on the NESN broadcast.
Sirott’s line made Bruins fans laugh and caught Buffalo fans off guard. The loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game was still fresh for them, and they got a reminder of it two days later.
That levity will keep Boston fans’ spirits up until the B’s return to action Thursday when they play the Winnipeg Jets at TD Garden. Puck drop is scheduled at 7 p.m. ET, and you can catch full coverage on NESN after an hour of pregame.
