Middlesbrough are set to secure the signature of Celtic youngster Josh Dede, according to the Daily Record.
The 19-year-old right-sided player is a product of Celtic’s academy system and has been a regular in Celtic’s development side.
Dede featured for Celtic’s Under-19 team in the UEFA Youth League in all six group games.
However, the youngster has failed to break into Brendan Rodgers’ first-team plans at Celtic.
Championship outfit Middlesbrough have tracked Dede’s progress and want to make him a part of their development side.
It has been claimed that Middlesbrough have managed to agree to a deal with the Scottish giants and Dede is set to join them.
Dede’s contract with Celtic will expire in June and he is expected to travel to England to complete his move with Michael Carrick’s side in the coming days.
The young Celtic academy star will be hoping to impress for Middlesbrough’s development team to force himself into the first team.
