Former Bruin Taylor Hall Involved in Three-Team Blockbuster Trade
Taylor Hall is on the move once again.
The former Boston Bruins forward, who had 111 points in 158 games with the Black and Gold, was traded from the Chicago Blackhawks to the Carolina Hurricanes as part of a shocking three-team trade.
The Hurricanes acquired both Hall and the Colorado Avalanche’s Mikko Rantanen in the blockbuster trade, sending Jack Drury, Martin Necas, and two future draft picks to Colorado. Chicago acquired a third-round draft pick in the 2025 draft and will retain 50 percent of Rantanen’s $9.25 million salary.
The Bruins may get to see the result of this trade on Saturday afternoon. Necas and Drury are game-time decisions for the Colorado-Boston matchup but are likely to play.
