I’m a bit shocked but the amount of our fans saying it was a poor performance last night (though based on the expectations and comments throughout the season so far, I shouldn’t be)
Comments like poor performance, we got battered, etc got me thinking what the Wrexham fans thought.
Their fans were “proud of that performance” comments like “best performance of the season” We had the best of the first half, and the best of the first 20/25 minutes of the second half.
They only troubled us when they brought on 2 more big Uggs to join the other big Uggs and pumped the ball into the box. Even then Allsopp only had to make two decent saves and tipped over a shit cross, that turned into a good shot. We took a point off a team that are unbeaten at home, and the Wrexham fans were delighted with their performance. That says a lot.
It now appears that for some only winning every game 4-0 is acceptable
