Re: Jobe Bellingham wanted by Premier League club as new Louie Barry transfer pathway emerges
Super HansFrom his point of view I don’t blame him going, was absolutely the right move for his career.
It’s when people try to claim letting a talented, albeit raw youngster leave for pittance is best for the club that makes no sense.
And no, the politics on him playing aren’t a valid reason for claiming it was best for the club either. We played Oli Burke, Tyler Roberts, Andre Dozzell, Alex Pritchard and Ivan Sunjic significant minutes.
Oh well, feck it. At least the days of losing our promising youth players for pittance are behind us now.
There seems to be a lot more to this than you or I know about. If Dan says it was right for the club as well, given he has the inside knowledge on it, that's enough for me.
