Dutch youngster emerges as a target for Tottenham

Tottenham’s squad is dotted with a number of exceptionally talented teenagers in the form of Archie Gray, Wilson Odobert, Lucas Bergvall and Mikey Moore.

It now looks like the Lilywhites are plotting to bring another highly regarded talent from Dutchman football to N17.

The player in question is Ajax youngster Rayane Bounida, who impressed against Tottenham’s Under-23s this week.

Johan Lange watched Rayane Bounida in action

Bounida played a starring role as Ajax beat Spurs‘ youngsters 5-1 last week, with the club’s technical director Johan Lange in attendance.

According to a report in Het Parool, Lange was there to watch Bounida in action and the 18-year-old certainly did not disappoint, scoring a goal and delivering a Man of the Match display.

The attacking midfielder has nine goals and one assist in 15 games in the U18 Div 1 Fall and Keuken Kampioen Divisie this season, and he is said to be rated as one of the best young players in his age group across Dutch football.

Tottenham can hold talks with Bounida soon

The outlet explains that Bounida’s contract with Ajax is running down, which means that he can discuss a pre-contract agreement with clubs outside the Netherlands from January 1.

This is why those at the Johan Cryuff Arena are concerned about losing the talented teenage midfielder as Tottenham now circle over him.
