Supporter Info: Hearts (A)

0 8

Information for all Hibernian FC supporters attending our William Hill Premiership game against Hearts.

Following a win against Aberdeen we move onto our next William Hill Premiership match and a visit to Tynecastle on Boxing Day. Supporters are asked to familiarise themselves with the following information.

With the game kicking off at 12.30pm, turnstiles will open at 11.30am and you are advised to arrive early to avoid any queues at the turnstiles.

PERSONAL SEARCHES

Hibernian Ticket Holders are asked to approach the stadium, if possible, from the Roseburn and Russell Road side of the stadium. As the turnstiles become busier supporters will be pulsed up to the turnstiles in groups which creates more controlled and quicker flow through the turnstiles for supporters. Please be patient.

Supporters will be subject to ticket checks, and searches before being pulsed up to the turnstiles and you are asked to co-operate fully with Police and Stewards in this process.

SEGREGATION

Segregation will be in place in McLoed Street before and after the match and Hibernian Supporters are advised to disperse towards the Roseburn area for routes to home and back into the City Centre after the match.

UNACCEPTABLE CONDUCT

We ask you to think about your actions, before, during and after the match.

We remind all supporters that unacceptable conduct will not be tolerated, anyone caught in possession of pyrotechnics, throwing objects, causing damage, entering the trackside or field of play, or bringing in bottles/cans into the stadium can expect action to be taken.

The Club will continue to support the actions of Police Scotland and the courts in acting against anyone detected carrying out a breach of the Ground Regulations or being involved in unacceptable conduct. Regardless, if we are home or away, sanctions against any breach may result in the individual facing an indefinite Club Ban, a Football Banning Order or, as we have seen elsewhere recently, a custodial sentence. Please don’t be that person!

Recent games have shown that pyrotechnics add nothing to the atmosphere at our matches, we thank Hibernian supporters for their cooperation in this. In addition to the toxic fumes that are emitted the disruption to the match is something on a football perspective is not welcomed by the football department. Your club doesn’t want this, the players don’t want this and from communication we have received, supporters don’t want this.

Walkways should be kept clear, and if seated in the stand you are asked to take up your designated seat while watching the match. This is not only a ground regulations requirement but also in the interest of the safety of all members of the public.

Football is a place where families come together to support their team and Hibernian Football Club prides itself in being a club for everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, colour, gender, religion, creed or sexual orientation. Please help us keep it this way.

Finally, please listen to and follow instructions given by Police Scotland, stewards and over the PA System, before, during and after the match.

TICKETING

With the match a sell-out supporters’ not in possession of a valid tickets should not travel to the Tynecastle or the surrounding area.
