TOM’S WEEKEND PREVIEW – December 21st

Hi and welcome to this weekend’s preview with Royston Town FC and Royston Town Reserves.

First up, Royston Town host local rivals Bedford Town in the Southern League Premier Central on Saturday in a 3 pm kick-off. Royston Town have played Bedford Town 3 times this season, with Royston drawing 1-1 away in the league with the game at Biggleswade Town’s ground with our goal coming from Luke Johnson and Bedford’s Town goal from Leon Lobjolt and a 1-1 home draw in the FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round with a Josh Dawodu goal while Ryan Blake got’s Bedford Town’s goal. Royston Town won the FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round Replay at Hitchin Town’s ground with a 3-0 with goals coming from James Brighton and a brace from Daniel Izekor.

Parking is limited and the nearest car park is the Town Hall car park postcode SG8 7XB, prices are: 

80p for an hour / 90p for 2 hours / £1.20 for 3 hours / £3.50 for more than 3 hours. After 3pm parking is free.

The clubhouse and refreshments will be open and accept cash and cards.

 

Last up, Royston Town Reserves travel to Northamptonshire when they take on Desborough Town in the Spartan South Midlands Division One, on Saturday also in a, 3 pm kick-off. This will be the first ever time that Royston Town Reserves and Desborough Town have played against each other.
