Juventus know it will be hard to sign Tottenham star in January
One Tottenham man continues to be a target for Juventus, but there is an acknowledgement that he would be too expensive for the Serie A side.
Speculation over defender’s future continues
Earlier this season, there was a lot of speculation linking Radu Dragusin with a quick return to Italy, with the defender alleged to be unhappy with his lack of game time at Tottenham.
One would have thought that the rumours would have gone quiet, given that Draugsin has been playing regularly of late in light of Spurs’ injury issues at the back.
However, the speculation over his future continues, with sources continuing to suggest over recent days that he is a target for Serie A sides.
Juventus want Dragusin but do not expect to get him
Corriere dello Sport have now claimed that the Bianconeri are prioritising signing a centre-back in January in light of the injury to Gleison Bremer.
Thiago Motta’s men have allegedly identified Dragusin and Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior as potential options in January.
However, Juventus are said to be aware that Tottenham will not loan out the 22-year-old while a permanent deal for the former Genoa man will be too expensive.
Spurs will not consider Radu Dragusin sale
Given Cristian Romero‘s and Micky van de Ven‘s ongoing injury woes, the last thing that Ange Postecoglou would want to do is weaken his squad by selling Dragusin.
If anything, the Australian would want to further bolster his backline in the upcoming transfer window.
The Romanian would also be pretty happy with the game time that he has been getting over the last month and is not going to ask to leave the club in January.
