Fanatics Support The Growth Of Women's Football
The Club are delighted to announce a new partnership with Fanatics, who will become the new back of shirt sponsor for the Women’s team.
As part of the agreement, Fanatics will receive exposure on the Women’s team shirts and social media platforms, as well as becoming the front of shirt sponsor for the Next Gen Under 17’s from the Hibernian Girls' & Women's Academy.
Fanatics, a leading global digital sports platform, became the Club’s official retail and merchandising partner earlier this year.
The Head of Partnerships at Hibernian FC, Sam O’Donnell, said:
“We are pleased to have the support of Fanatics for the remainder of the 24/25 season.
“Fanatics have already had a positive impact on the Club from a retailing perspective, so we are excited to be able to expand the partnership into the Girls and Women’s Academy as well as the Women’s first team.
“The Women’s team have enjoyed an incredibly successful start to the campaign, and we are delighted to have the support of Fanatics as we look to build on our achievements on the pitch.”
Fanatics’ support of the Next Gen Under 17’s from the Hibernian Girls' & Women's Academy will play a vital role in furthering the girls’ development as they aim to progress into the first team, as Head of Football at the Hibernian Community Foundation, Paul Greig comments:
“We are absolutely delighted to have such a global leader as Fanatics invest in our Girls' and Women's Academy here at Hibernian FC and we thank them greatly for their support.
“We have a proud history at the club of creating a progressive environment to support female athletes on their journey towards professional football, and with the support of Fanatics we can continue to provide the best possible environment for our stars of tomorrow."
Anna Mitchell, Senior Director, International Business Development at Fanatics, also said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring the Club’s Women and Girls teams, who continue to go from strength to strength both on and off the pitch. Championing women’s sport is both a personal and professional passion of mine, as well as of Fanatics more widely, and we look forward to supporting each team as they continue to grow and thrive.”
