James Maddison reveals who the best darts player is at Tottenham and shares that one of his teammates is as bad as they come at the sport.

James Maddison’s love affair with darts

It is a well-known fact that Maddison is a big fan of darts, with the Tottenham man enjoying both watching and playing the game.

In fact, throwing a dart has been his trademark celebration for many years and that appears unlikely to change anytime soon, with some of his Spurs teammates also joining in the celebrations of late.

Best and worst player at Tottenham

Unsurprisingly, it turns out that the Spurs squad do play quite a bit of darts in the changing room and Maddison has now revealed who the best and worst is at the club.

When asked to name the best at the club, the attacking midfielder did not take long to tell TNT Sports that it was Micky van de Ven.

When asked to name the worst, the 27-year-old responded: “I haven’t played against him but I saw Richarlison throw a few at the board in the changing room and… he looks like he’s doing javelin.”

Maddison reveals best golfer among footballers

Maddison is also a fan of golf and was asked in the interview who the best golfer is among those he has played with in the footballing world.

Unsurprisingly, the Spurs vice-captain picked his former Tottenham teammate, Harry Kane. Maddison said: “Maybe Harry Kane. Very low handicap and he’s got a bit on the old golf course.”

Of course, fans miss the Tottenham legend more for his prowess on the football pitch though!
