There was a welcome boost on Friday when Ange Postecoglou revealed that Heung-min Son and Richarlison were once again available having returned to Tottenham first-team training.
An early-kick off can always be a problematic game, however, Tottenham will be expecting to take all three points against a West Ham side that has not won consecutive Premier League games since March.
The Hammers have been missing summer signing Niclas Fullkrug in recent weeks and the former Borussia Dortmund forward will not be fit to return for the derby.
