U18s Begin Scottish Youth Cup Campaign

The wee Hibees are back in action this weekend as they take on Dunfermline in the Third Round of the Scottish Youth Cup!

Darren McGregor’s side will be hoping to continue their impressive run of form, which has seen them go unbeaten so far in the CAS Elite League, with the Hibees currently top of the table.

That run of form has included impressive victories over Celtic, Dundee, Hamilton, Motherwell, St Mirren and last year’s title winners Aberdeen.

The wee Hibees come into this one off the back of a 3-0 victory over Celtic, with Dean Cleland (X2) and Josh McDonald at Lennoxtown.

Ahead of the Scottish Cup clash this weekend, in-form striker Dean Cleland told hibernianfc.co.uk how much the lads were looking forward to the cup-tie.

“It has been a really good start to the season, we’re still unbeaten and we’ve got the Scottish Cup to look forward to this weekend so everyone is feeling good.

“Everyone is happy to be playing and we’re all excited at the moment.” – Read Dean’s full interview here.

The match kicks off at 7.30pm on Friday 11 October at Dunfermline Athletic Training Ground!
